Fields: Detail Displays

Detail Displays contains a list of detail displays that have been configured, and options for managing those detail displays.

	The Discovery administrator database metadata is cached in the Discovery Server application. Adding, editing, or removing a detail display, and selecting or the detail display for a profile will require the metadata cache to be refreshed. For more information, see Refreshing the search cache.

	When you create a Reserve Target, Portfolio creates a Detail Display that matches the Reserve target. The Reserve detail display cannot be deleted in Detail Displays. However, when you delete the Reserve Target, Portfolio deletes the Detail Display for that target.

Detail Display List

Displays a list of all the existing detail displays on the system.

This list displays the following information for each detail display.

Option	Description
Code	Displays a unique code for the detail display (up to 30 characters).
Name	Displays the name of the detail display (up to 80 characters).

Management options

Lets you manage detail displays by adding, editing, or deleting them. You can also configure the information fields that appear in a detail display.

You can choose these options to manage detail displays:

Option	Description
Add Detail Display	Creates a new detail display. For more information, see Adding or editing a detail display.
Edit	Modifies the selected detail display. For more information, see Adding or editing a detail display.
Configure Fields	Lets you configure the settings for the individual search fields in a specific detail display. For more information, see Configuring the search fields for a detail display.
Configure HTML Widgets	Lets you assign HTML widgets for use in the detail display to provide additional functionality to the display. For more information, see Managing HTML widgets.
Delete	Removes the selected detail display. For more information, see Deleting a detail display.
